A foot lifts up heavily
And lands hard with a long sad sigh
The other one gives up
Lacking the courage to even try

Their advices are usually warnings
And warnings - usually threats
Their threats are mere condemnations
And condemnations - my inspiration

Give way

However hard the horizon tries
Embracing night only does suffice
Let for long linger the dusk
Give way to dark in end it must

Allure

I look for light after dark
For a life with a "tick" mark 
At least thus I make sure 
No one knows what I allure
